After the usual Super Test on Friday night it was time for two tricky race days. Three laps of the race with three special round tests challenged the riders on Saturday and Sunday; the tough and long Enduro Test kicked off the race, and then gave way to the Cross Test and finally it was the daunting Extreme Test that closed the event.
 
Davide Soreca showed great character by excelling in the complex Extreme Test and posting solid times in the Cross Test. The Enduro Test was his Achilles heel; the Italian struggling to find the right pace. Despite this, he closed the Slovak Grand Prix with two top ten placings in Enduro 1.
 
Davide Soreca: "I came here with the feeling that the Italian GP left me. Unfortunately, the Slovak forest was not as kind as the Italian one. It was the toughest race in recent years, really technical and tricky. Despite this I have had some great times in the extreme test that allowed me to close with a P8 and P7 that gave me valuable points for the Championship.”
